“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Nigel Buggers succeeded beyond measure. He was more than ably assisted by his best friend, Neil. Together they righted wrongs, made thousands of us laugh, sometimes cry and now we are sharing the tears of his family. He was an amazing ambassador for Greyhounds, probably the first one I came across when I began blogging. Nigel’s Face Book page is overflowing with eloquent, heartfelt tributes to him. He touched so many people. The world is a better place for Nigel’s mighty presence and now it is time for him to shine somewhere else. Run free big fella.
