The applicants do not have to be patients of Dr. Kates. Dr. Kates has a very strong belief in community and the role professionals should play to strengthen and enhance our community. Each year, Spillers Orthodontics provides two (2) 1, 000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are either current or former patients of Spillers Orthodontics. The scholarship may be applied towards tuition, books, fees, or any other related expenses for the students first year of college.

The Just Orthodontics Scholarship is a nonrenewable scholarship awarded to a graduating Senior that was a past patient at Just Orthodontics who is planning to enroll in a technical college or 4 year universitycollege.
