Mellon dissertation research fellowship

The International Dissertation Research Fellowship program announces its 2017 cohort of 70 fellows, whose research spans the breadth of the social sciences and humanities, as well as virtually every region of the world The Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) is pleased to offer fellowships generously funded by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation for dissertation research in the humanities or related social sciences using original sources.

International Dissertation Field Research Fellowships (Social Science Research Council in partnership with the American Council of Learned Societies) Council on Library and Information Resources Mellon Fellowships for Dissertation Research in ACLS invites applications for MellonACLS Dissertation Completion Fellowships, which support a year of research and writing to help advanced graduate students in the humanities and related social sciences in the last year of PhD dissertation writing.

The program encourages timely completion of the PhD. The Mellon International Dissertation Research Fellowship (IDRF) offers nine to twelve months of support to graduate students in the humanities and humanistic social sciences who are enrolled in PhD programs in the United States and conducting dissertation research on nonUS topics.
