Over the years Beryl has run into me a number of times and I’ve had the bruises to prove it. I soon learned that it paid to develop nerves of steel and not move when she was charging at me because I could guarantee whichever way I dodged would be the wrong way! Asher does the same thing, runs at me flat out but he doesn’t have the same mischievous glint in his eye that Beryl has when she does it. I realised the thought that he might crash into me has never crossed my mind. I’m relaxed and enjoying the amazing power and speed I’m privileged to view. Any Greyhound owner will tell you what a joy it is to watch them run for fun.

This afternoon I decided it was Beryl’s turn for a fashion shoot. She had other plans …
I’m lacking girly props but I think a string of pearls is a bit too much ‘less is more’. Oh well, I’ve still got a week to find some inspiration, props and strike Beryl in a modelling frame of mind
We’ve had another play with getting photos for the fashion shoot competition and I decided to use Frankie as my guinea pig for camera settings. He’s got a good ‘down stay’ whereas with Asher it’s very hit and miss so far! I haven’t worked with Beryl as yet, that will be very interesting, lol!
I’m not one for dressing my dogs up but it’s for a good cause and if the dogs were miserable it wouldn’t happen. Contrary to appearances, Frankie and Asher are having a blast. Frankie specialises in the moody, James Dean type look and Asher is a bit that way inclined too. Plus its hard taking photos on your own, lol! I can’t toss a treat or throw a ball and take photos at the same time I’m hoping to have the finished fashion photos done by Wordless Wednesday but I’m not holding my breath!
